My 20th birthday has come and gone! Whoa! @_@ It feels odd, to say the least. My family was asking what I wanted to do for my birthday and I had absolutely no idea at all. Since we were in Missouri at the time, I ended up hanging out with a few good friends of mine and everyone went to see Up later that evening. Very very good movie!

I've also been receiving pics left and right as birthday gifts from some wonderful friends of mine! The very talented happened to have had a sale going on with commissions and what perfect timing! All of these were done by her

Things feel absolutely awesome. It's been years since I've been free from my binding commissions XD and I'm oh so very close to achieving that freedom once again. Hopefully, I won't have to take commissions anymore for a while as I'd really like to work more on personal art.

I've been working a lot more on sketching things other than canines. They're great, really...But I yearn to draw a lot more @_@ Like people. I'm already seeing some progress, but lets hope that continues!

Why did you join this site?
I had browsed DA for about three or so years, but never bothered to join. Finally, Azurelizard managed to get me thinking about it...Eh, why not? Post art, view art, and keep in contact with art buddies.

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
Leah Tribal came to exist a good while ago. "Tribal" originally came from a fangirl stage involving Zidane Tribal on FFIX. After a few years, I decided that I wanted to be more original and therefore set out on a journey of finding a new last name for her...

Right down to it, I had overall grown used to Tribal. It really didn't matter that it was Zidane's last name anymore...I never give it much thought these days even. After some thought, I realized that "Tribal" stood for several things which I hold interest in. Tribal is a form of art, for example. There's also cultural meaning there.

So...The name never changed, but the meaning behind it sure did

The first name...I realize that not many people name characters after themselves. This was the result of a very uncreative, twelve year old me trying out rp for the very first time. It just stuck over the years.

I'm also not all that fond of people calling LT a cat girl, when the descriptions clearly explain that her race is wolf based.

I don't think I've really gotten any annoying comments on DA. On another site, however, someone called me a cold hearted snob because I wouldn't give them art for free XD

Memories, nature, music and weather ;3

Colored pencil, marker, water color, ink...I tamper with others here and there.
