>.< Man, I am so so ticked!
Incase you don't know, my mother and I left my dad last year and moved here...I'm not really going to go into details why, but basically he was (and has been for the past 20 or so years) always easily losing his temper and getting violent and so on. The environment was too stressful for us, so we finally left..
That's beside the point though...When we left, we left almost everything in my father's possession. We took our necessities and whatever else of ours we could fit in the van and left. Due to it being this way, I had to leave my dog, Augusta behind...I had raised her since she was about ten weeks old and she's been one of my best buddies =/ I miss her oh so much. But I had to keep faith that dad would take care of her...that's all I could really do. Sure, I wanted to bring her to our new home (we're like...six hours away now) but the landlord of the house we were renting didn't permit dogs u.u
Sure, dad did some things I didn't agree with....but Augusta seemed fine. As long as she was healthy and happy, then so am I...he managed to train her to be able to stick around without being kept on a big dog lead, which had me quite impressed. Even though she had enough room to begin with, she now had more freedom to roam around. Again, I was happy for her.
Now...when mom and I were there, we always let Augusta in the garage to sleep at night. Poor dear would freak out if we didn't =/ Dad obviously didn't do this...and early this morning, I get called by him to find out that my dog's tail is missing.
...what? missing?
So he tells me the whole deal of how she must have gotten into a fight with a coyote during the night....Augusta's a big husky/chow mix...you'll find her pic right in my gallery.
she had a long, beautiful tail that would curl over like a husky's would...and he's sitting there, telling me that it must have been torn off by a coyote. And further more, he didn't even take her to a vet! I was outraged! He talked about how all she really did yesterday after it happened was lay around, not being active at all...and obviously the poor thing bled -_-; This stupid event could have been avoided if he'd just let her in the garage at night like we always did.
I'm just....argh. My poor baby's probably suffering and nothing's being done about it whatsoever. *sighs* my grandmother promised that she'd go check up on her, but man....I just wanna go there myself and give the poor girl a big hug =/
My dad's gotten me ticked several times before as you all know...but this really takes the cake. I want more than anything to just bring Augusta here....but even with a house to call our own, mom claims she doesn't want a dog that big around. Instead, she plans on getting an Aussie pup -_-; yay for puppies, but I really don't want a new dog...just my buddy back.
I'll probably be updating with more brighter news soon....I can't really think of anything good to type right now. My mind's far too clouded with anger from what happened to my dog and also from dad calling me so friggin' early in the morning. He's seemed to make a habit of that as of late.
Till next time.
